My step dad’s last name was Peroni. This photo was taken outside the Cambridge 1 pizza house in Brookline. Somehow it seems fitting that meeting Shannon, whom you’ve seen in past photos and who sparked the idea of putting together a documentary on the run, would all start in a place with a touch of family on it’s windows.
In the reflection are Michelle, my daughter for those of you just getting started with us, Peter, who designed the web site and myself coming from a race somewhere (I just can’t remember which one).
Great friends, great pizza, a couple glasses of Peroni carbs and a new day with a story to share and remember.
