If you have been following my blog for any length of time, you would know that I like to take time to give credit to the people in the background that usually receive little or no credit for what they do. Having been on the Holyoke St. Patty’s race committee for two years now I can tell you that it takes ALOT of people willing to put out their time and effort to make this race the success that it is.    Â
The photos of some of the volunteers I am showing in this entry are of but a few of the hundred or so people just in the registration tent.
I can also tell you that there are a hundred others just standing guard at all the intersections that are part of the running and walking routes. And almost another hundred helping with the starting corals, the finish shute and the water stops. THINK ABOUT THESE FACTS. It’s amazing.
And “Yes” we do celebrate when it’s all over.
So to all you out there that think it’s easy…….
