Patrick Rud was a dear friend of mine. He was killed in a motorcycle crash this past summer an hour after I had been talking to him.  Pat was a Marine and then spent 8 years in the Air National Guard. I was at a candle light vigil for him at the crash site where I met his father, fiancee and her friend. They came and ran/walked in the St. Patty’s Day event in his honor. 
 
  Patrick was a great man, a great friend and served his country with honor.Â

AL I’d like to thank you for such a beautiful tribute to my son Patrick you are a Great Friend that was a beautiful day. And I always look up at every event a ride a walk or a run I’ve had a hawk fly with us that was Pat telling me it was going to be a great day and safe one thank you again
