The Place To Be On October 11th

I headed out of my house last Sunday morning. I was headed to Worcester to do a race I had not done in the past. 

I was headed to the Octoberfest5k. 

It was at Brew City on Shrewsbury Street.  And I headed out expecting a great time.

I was not disappointed.   

The very first person I met was Jeff Smith.  Jeff won the Boston Marathon, not once, but twice. 

He was also the main organizer for this race.  And, along with help from volunteers…. 

like these pretty women, it was a great race and day for all that came. 

Not only did I have the great day I had expected, but, it was a fantastic time for everybody.  This race is one that I believe will explode in the next years.  So put this absolutely on your race calender for next year and come join us.
