One of the fun parts of running a race in my home area is meeting alot of friends running the same race. John(125), Lisa(114), Heather(143), Karen(144), and Dick(107) are friends that I see many times during a month just in my daily routines. It’s always fun when our love for running brings us together for a cause.
Ed and his son, Patrick, ran the race side by side. It was Patrick’s 1st road race ever and they did quite well.  Â
The 1st annual Memorial Day Race for the veterans in Florence, Ma. was a great success and was part of a wonderful day with parades and a festival honoring those that keep us free.
