Here are some more pictures from the July 4th 5k in Norwood, Ma.. Bob and I first met at the Brewster, Ma. Brew Fest 5k. This means we met a year ago and here again about a hundred miles from our first meeting. Running, and expanding where you run, can allow you to meet new friends  and give you commons grounds to meet again. This is what I believe is a wonderful part of the sport.
Carol told me I was the person she used during the race to pace herself. Trying to keep my male ego intact I decided not to ask if she finished in ahead of me.  One of the self preservation techniques I’ve learned over the years.
And Colleen and Terry were fun to get to know because I love the fact that they are husband and wife sharing a common interest that takes them places together.Â
Although it was a warm race day it was a fun race day that helped me more appreciate the freedoms we have that we celebrate on Independence Day
“Thank You” Norwood for allowing me to be part of your celebration.  Â
