Before heading back to my vehicle and heading home, I decided to check out some of the gathering of runners who had made their way into the tavern. More food, more glasses of carbs, and more friendly people.Â
Siobhan(1089) and Jeff are friends that are separated by almost 600 miles(Jeff living and working in the D.C. area) but they reunited for the holiday weekend and the race. 
Kristen(1043) and Ben and I met just before the start of the race. A few hours away from their daughter to run together in a race seems like a great little get away together.
Michelle is a road race enthusiast. Like me she goes to these races to both run and meet great people
Each meeting of new friends brings with it exciting stories and a time to share space and time with people you meet through the wonderful world of running.
