There Were Signs Of Strength And Hope Everywhere

The map with the strings was part of a larger wooden map of the world.  Each string on this part shows where people who were in Joplin working on the build— AS VOLUNTEERS–came from.  AMAZING-AMAZING–AMAZING. 

I came away from 8 days in Joplin believing, even more strongly, that the desire to help ones fellow man(and woman) is still alive and well.  Keep reading the entries and I’ll introduce you to some of the people who proved it to me that week.
