The Elks Club in Holyoke, Ma. has put on the best Thanksgiving time Talking Turkey Races you’ll ever find. The sun was out with 35 plus degrees, no wind and a flat course. What more could you ask for on December 1st. 
Meet Brian Donahue.  Brian is the main race co-ordinator for some of the largest races in the area. Him and I met years ago and he has been a cherished friend ever since.Â
He has an enormous wealth of information of running and organizing and always is one of the key ingredients in the success of the races in the Holyoke area, including this Talking Turkey and The Holyoke St Patrick’s Race.  Working with his dad, Archie, they make quite a team.
