The Master Mind, The Commanders And…. Oh Yeah–Me

Pictured here are (l-r) myself, Brian Donoghue, Col. James Keefe, and Archie Donoghue.  Brian is the master mind of the road race. He has tremendous knowledge of races, racing, racers and what makes them all tick.  Jim is the Commander of Barnes Air Force Base and Archie is the Commander of the Holyoke St. Patty’s road race. 

This was our meeting during the quiet before the storm.

 

A coulpe hours later 7,000+ runners and walkers gathered at the starting area. And…And….And…    

We were off.
