About 3 weeks ago I wrote about fire fighters I saw at a race that wore full rescue gear while running the 6k in Worcester. Upon arriving to the Brockton race they were the first people I met.Â
What you see here is some of the equipment that they would be putting on a short time later to run.

And in 80 degree weather they ran. Both men ran personal record times.
It’s an amazing accomplishment.

I caught John after he finished. It’s been great getting to meet these guys cause they have a mission and a cause in doing what they do.    
They later were brought up front to explain their reason for running that day.
