The fun with every race, I either help put on or I run, is seeing old friends and making new friends. Â
John and Brenna were great new friends a year or so ago. But now they are great close friends that I see both socially and at races. Brenna just finished running the Marine Corp. Marathon a couple weeks ago. Â
This is a family involved in helping. Alex(with cap) is stationed at Barnes Air Base. He ran with his son Logan (in costume) while his wife Cathleen, and sons Brody and Jack, volunteered.  Â
Ashley was one of my daughter’s best friends in high school. She ran with her mom, Sue. Sue and I were part of a large group of parents that traveled everywhere. Both Ashley and my daughter, Michelle, were on the cheering squad and gymnastics team. We spent many years cheering them on together. Â
Ryan is a great new friend. He ran his first race ever in March of this year. It was the Saint Patty’s Race in Holyoke. I am part of the race committee. He has not only lost 60 pounds, but this was his 16th race of the year. Welcome to our world my friend. Proud of you.
There are 3 more entries with many more pictures of runners and volunteers. Check them out to see if you might be in them.              Â
