Lt. Col. Morris “Moose” Fontenot was killed in a crash of his F-15C Eagle Fighter on August 27th in Virginia. An experience pilot with over 2300 flying hours including 5 missions over seas, he will be missed by many.  He was a great man, husband and father and was  dedicated to the country he flew for.Â
He was stationed at Barnes Air National Guard Base in Westfield, Mass. Along with many friends he left….. Â
his wife Kara and daughters, Nicole and Natalie.Â
In an effort to make sure that Kara and her daughters are taken care of some of Moose’s friends put together an event to raise money for the Fontenot Family Memorial Fund.
This fund was set up to help support their living and schooling needs.  Â
And to help start up the memorial fund a group of great people stepped up and set up the first annual run and walk in Moose’shonor.Â
I have alot of photos to show you what a great  job was done putting this event together in less than 2  1/2 months.  The way to access all of the entries and all of the photos is to first hit the title of each of my newest entries and then, when you’ve read them, click onto the “November archives” to access the rest.
All in all it was a great day in honor of a great man to help support his great family. Please read through it. Then click onto rallyformoose.org to learn more.    Â
