Slainte, the newest restaurant in Holyoke at 80 Jarvais Ave. Owned by Jake and Deb who are owners of The Eastside Grille in Northampton. They have put a great new feel to this establishment that had been missing with past owners. Great food, drink, atmosphere and views. Plus owners that are there all the time to make sure everyone is happy.
Pic’s Pub at 910 Hampden St. offers great oven baked pizza, wings  and other great foods. This along 8 big screen televisions to watch all the big sporting events.  Pic can be found on almost every day and night cooking in the kitchen.Â
  
I met Dee Reilly singing great Irish songs at Pic’s Pub on both Friday and Saturday evenings during the St Patrick’s Day weekend. She is about to begin a european tour with her country band. Also we are sitting down to talk and see if might be able to produce music for my Alaska- Florida run.
