I tend to arrive to races very early. 
And most of the time this is what the race sites look like when I arrive. You also never know what the day is going to be like or how many people might be there.Â
But on this sunny Sunday in West Roxbury……
The crowd showed up. I noticed that over 2000 participants had been here last year, which is quite a large number for a 5k this time of the year. But after the race I found out a good part of what the draw was to this race. Can you say…………………
