A Great Race In Brockton

June 29th, Brockton, Ma.,what a great find.  This race is one you need to be at next year if you missed it. 

For a small registration fee you got to run a 5k on areal nice course, a super tee shirt, tons of food, live music and free beer.  Awesome. 

Jimmy and Peter are the main organizers for this race.  And, when I went looking to find the organizers, I just looked for the people that were running everywhere.  They, along with many volunteers have put together a wonderful race and day for people to enjoy.    

The race started and finished at the Brockton Firefighters Union building.  This turned out to have been the right decision for me as far as running a fun race and meeting great people.    

John became an instant friend to many people that participated in the day.  He was the man handing out the beer after the race. Which means he supplied the continuous smiles.  “Great job my friend”.  

The band played, the sun shined, the people that came had a super day.  I’ve got 3 more entries with people that were part of my day in Brockton.  So read them and put this race in your calender for next year.
