  As I made my way back to my car, I had to make one last walk across the now enpty  lot that an hour or so before had been full of activity, laughter, the exchanging of running stories,  and music.  But one thing it will always be full of for me is wonderful memories.Â
I’m sure every runner has their own favorite race. For me it will always be the Canal Diggers in Worcester.  If you’ve been here I know you’ll be back. If you’re reading this and haven’t made it yet, don’t let yourself miss it next year.
To all those who work so hard to put this event on—-THANK YOU. To all the runners that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting here—-THANK YOU. You have all given me a great day to look forward to each year. May the world of running be part of your life forever.
