Kelly came to cheer on her son Patrick who ran the race.  Her son, Daniel, helped set up earlier in the day. Kelly and I realized we had met at a race in the not too distant past, but were not able to pinpoint exactly which one it was. Not an unusal problem for those in the running world.

I met Sean and Michele during my stretch as greeter during registration. We then saw each other as the race started, passed each other during the race and then met again in the food line. We came that day not having ever met before and left that day as new friends. Just one of the great fringe benefits of being in the running world.
So next year come and have a great time along with us. With 800 participants at our first annual Half Way To St. Patty’s Day Race, this one will only get bigger. Be part of the festivities by putting this race on your 2015 calender now and we will see you there.Â
